TURKIC HUMANITIES Our Mission Our mission is to promote scholarly study and research in the field of Turkic Humanities with the vision of promoting education, understanding and harmony among the peoples of Turkic countries as well as enriching the knowledge of all peoples of the world about the historical and present share of Turkic Humanities in the structure and development of human civilization in general. Our mission is to amass scholarly study and research in the field of Turkic Humanities, because we found a relative paucity of studies incomparable with the extensive interaction of this very mobile people with a multitude of neighboring nations in a geographic stage extending form eastern Asia to the middle of Europe and from Siberian steppes to Middle Eastern deserts over a period of about two thousand years. The study and research will be in Turkic culture and literature within their traditional, historical, contemporary or comparative context, and will be freely accessible in Encyclopaedia Turkica. Our Vision Our vision is to promote education and knowledge among the peoples of Turkic countries in particular and of peoples of the world in general about the share of Turkic Humanities and culture in the formation and development of the common human civilization, with the aim of contributing to a better understanding thus harmony between peoples of the world, devoid of political considerations.
